Keep Frisinger, who has done an outstanding job as mayor of Issaquah
I have lived in Issaquah for 26 years and had the pleasure of serving on the City Council and as executive director of the Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. I have worked with many public officials in that time and one of the finest, without doubt, is Ava Frisinger. She deserves to be re-elected as mayor of Issaquah.
Ava's experience is deep and her understanding of Issaquah's needs and values is obvious to anyone who has known her. I have watched Ava take time from a very busy schedule to lead tours of young students at the salmon hatchery year after year. I have received countless letters from these kids thanking her for teaching them about salmon and answering all their questions. They love her! We are very fortunate to have someone like Ava Frisinger as our mayor. She is so very responsible!
Ava does have a fault though. She is not big on self-promotion and sometimes others need to remind everyone just how good she has been for this city. Our budgets are realistic and our fiscal condition sound. Our city programs are excellent along with our emergency services. Our city is the envy of many on the Eastside for its small-town charm and big-city sophistication.
Ava has always placed public safety at the top of her priorities. She works well with everyone and respects others' opinions. For Ava Frisinger, the job of mayor is about community service and keeping Issaquah the fine little city it is. One only needs to look around to see what a good job she has done working with others to make this the best home I, and I suspect you, too, have ever had.
